Removal Procedure

- Remove the rear fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Front Tank) or Fuel Tank Replacement (Rear Tank) .
- Remove the ground wire harness bolt.
- Reposition the ground wire and fill pipe ground strap.
- Open the rear axle vent hose clip at the fill pipe and remove the vent hose.
- Loosen the fuel tank fill hose clamp at the front tank.
- Disconnect the fuel fill hose vent line quick connect fitting from the tank. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
- Remove the fill hose from the front tank.
- Remove the fuel fill hose/pipe assembly.
- Cap the open end of the front fuel tank to prevent system contamination.
