Output Speed Sensor: Removal

- Remove the transmission oil pan and filter. See DRAINING & REFILLING under LUBRICATION.
- Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector (3) from the output speed sensor (2). See Fig 1.
- Remove the output speed sensor bolt (3). See Fig 2.
- Remove the output speed sensor (2).
- Remove the output speed sensor spacer (1).
- Inspect the output speed sensor (2) for the following conditions:
- Damaged or missing magnet.
- Damaged housing.
- Bent or missing electrical terminals.
