Floor Shift Control Boot: Removal

Set the parking brake.
Remove the shift boot from the console trim plate by lightly prying up on the rear of the shift control boot. See Fig 1.
Lift the shift control boot up over the shift knob. See Fig 2.
Remove the shift knob retaining screw.
Lift the shift control boot and knob assembly off of the shift lever.
