Cruise Control

Cruise control is a speed control system that maintains a desired vehicle speed under normal driving conditions at speeds greater than 25 MPH (40 km/h). Steep grades may cause variations in the selected vehicle speeds.
The following are the main components of the cruise control system:
- Clutch Pedal Position (CPP) switch, if equipped with M/T.
- Cruise control switch.
- ECM.
- Extended travel brake switch.
- Stoplight switch.
- TCC brake switch/cruise control release switch.
- Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) motor.
- Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS).
