Starter Motor Replacement: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the intake manifold.
  3. Disconnect the BAT cable from the starter. See Fig 1 . Disconnect the wire from the "S" terminal on the starter.
  4. Remove the 2 starter motor mounting bolts. See Figure . Remove the starter motor.
