Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the cruise control cable. Refer to CRUISE CONTROL CABLE REPLACEMENT (BASE, DHS, DTS)  or CRUISE CONTROL CABLE REPLACEMENT (V4U)  .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the cruise control module assembly (2).
  3. Remove the nuts (3) and the bolt (1) from the cruise control module assembly (2).
  4. Remove the cruise control module assembly (2).

  5. Remove the fasteners (3) retaining the bracket (4) to the cruise control module (1).
  6. Remove the cruise control module (1) from the mounting bracket (4).
