Shift Interlock Solenoid

Gearshift lever cannot be moved from PARK position without simultaneously applying brake pedal with ignition switch turned to ON position. When brake pedal is applied, the stoplamp switch interrupts the circuit to the shift interlock solenoid. De-energizing shift interlock solenoid unlocks gearshift lever from PARK position.
