Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Cadillac Eldorado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the power seat switch pack (1) to the outer finish panel (2).
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the fasteners in order to secure the switch pack.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 0.8 N.m (7 lb in).

  3. Position the outer finish panel (2) to the seat cushion.
  4. Connect the electrical connectors.

    Important:  Ensure the outer finish panel (1) is secured to the retention clip on the seat frame (2) prior to tightening the fasteners.

  5. Secure the outer finish panel to the retention clip (2) on the seat cushion frame.

    Install the fasteners.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  6. Install the two forward seat switch knobs.
  7. Push inward on the knobs until an audible click is heard.
  8. Reposition the seat.
