Installation Procedure

  1. Install the stabilizer shaft to the vehicle.
  2. Install the stabilizer shaft insulators.
  3. Install the stabilizer shaft brackets.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  4. Install the stabilizer shaft bracket bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the stabilizer shaft bracket bolts to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).

  5. Install the stabilizer shaft links. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement .
  6. Install the outer tie rods to steering knuckles.
  7. Install the outer tie rods retaining nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the tie rod end to knuckle nut to 10 N.m (88 lb ft).

  8. Connect the brake line clip to the frame.
  9. Connect the road sensing suspension link to the lower control arm.
  10. Install the power steering gear heat shield. Refer to POWER STEERING GEAR HEAT SHIELD REPLACEMENT .
  11. Install the engine exhaust pipe.
  12. Install the front tires and wheels. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  13. Lower the vehicle.
