Generator Cable: Removal
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Remove the upper filler panel. Remove the intake manifold. See INTAKE MANIFOLD

- Remove the nut securing the battery positive cable to the remote positive terminal. Disconnect the starter motor BAT terminal wire from the starter. See Fig 1

- Reposition the protective boot from the generator output BAT terminal for access. Remove the generator output BAT terminal nut and disconnect the positive lead from the generator. Disconnect the cable harness clips from the front of the camshaft cover. Remove the generator cable from the vehicle. See Figure
