Code Enable Criteria

Ignition switch from OFF to RUN position. Microprocessor runs test program to detect a check sum error after each power up. This program runs only if DTC B1327 is not set as a current DTC. For DTC B1327, see GENERATORS & REGULATORS - SEVILLE article in STARTING & CHARGING SYSTEMS.
