Lumbar Massage Module: Removal

Lumbar massage module is hooked on seat back frame cross brace and fastened to seat belt shoulder strap adjuster tower using velcro to hold module in place.

  1. Remove seat back trim cover. See SEAT BACK TRIM COVER  .
  2. Locate massage module on seat back frame, next to shoulder belt adjuster tower, hooked to seat back frame cross brace. See Figure .
  3. Release hook and loop material that retains massage module to seat back frame.
  4. Push up on massaging lumbar module to un-hook massage module from seat back frame cross brace.
  5. Remove massage module from seat back.
  6. Disconnect massage module electrical connector.
  7. Remove massage module.
