Power Seat System: Notes

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2001 Cadillac DeVille. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Driver's and passenger's power seat system each consist of these components: seat adjuster switch, seat horizontal motor, seat front and rear vertical motor, seat recline motor, headrest motor and PWR SEAT 30-amp circuit breaker. Driver's and passenger's power seat systems operate independently of each other. Each motor contains an electronic circuit breaker, that will reset only after voltage has been removed from motor. Battery voltage is supplied at all times to each seat switch from PWR SEAT circuit breaker, located in rear fuse block.
