30 Minute Learn Procedure
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position.
- Attempt to start engine, then release key to RUN position (vehicle will not start).
- Observe SECURITY indicator. After 10 minutes, SECURITY indicator will turn off.
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position, and wait 5 seconds.
- Repeat steps 1) - 4) 2 times more for a total of 3 cycles/30 minutes. Vehicle is now ready to relearn password on next ignition switch transition from OFF to START.
- Start engine. Vehicle has now learned password
- Using scan tool, clear any DTCs if needed. History DTCs will self clear after 100 ignition cycles.
NOTE:
Vehicle learns password on next ignition switch transition from OFF to START. You must turn ignition switch to OFF position before attempting to start vehicle.
