DTC P1602: Knock Sensor Module Performance: Description

Engine Control Module (ECM) employs an internal module to continuously monitor Knock Sensor (KS) control circuit. KS module contains circuitry that allows ECM to utilize KS signals and diagnose KS sensors and circuitry. KS module is not a replaceable component. If ECM detects a fault in ability of KS module to sample these signals, this DTC will set.
