Rear Suspension: Description

Independent rear suspension uses coil springs to support vehicle weight. See Fig 1. On Deville and Seville models, hub and bearing assembly on control arm is a sealed unit. If faulty, entire assembly must be replaced. On Eldorado models, hub and bearing assembly on knuckle is a sealed unit. If faulty, entire assembly must be replaced. Suspension support is a subframe that supports all other suspension components. See Figure and Figure . Entire suspension support can be removed if necessary.
