Compressor Hose Assembly: Installation

  1. Install the compressor hose assembly to the vehicle. Install NEW seal washers to the compressor ports. Connect the compressor hose assembly to the compressor. See Figure. Tighten to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Connect the left engine oil cooler line to the oil filter adapter and install the engine splash shield.
  3. Connect the A/C pressure connector. Install NEW O-rings to condenser end of the compressor hose. Install the compressor hose to the condenser. See Fig 1. Tighten fitting to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Install NEW O-rings to accumulator end of compressor hose. Install the compressor hose to the accumulator. Tighten fitting to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  5. Recharge the A/C system. See RECOVERY, EVACUATION & RECHARGING in GENERAL SERVICING PROCEDURES article in GENERAL SERVICING.
  6. Leak test system. See LEAK TESTING in GENERAL SERVICING PROCEDURES article in GENERAL SERVICING.
