Memory Seat

Memory seat option allows driver to set seat, lumbar and headrest position and store it to memory in the memory seat module. Driver can recall personalized seat position when entering vehicle after seat positions have been altered. Memory switch is located on driver's door panel. Memory seat consists of memory seat module and 2 lumbar motors. Each lumbar motor has a position sensor. Memory seat module controls functions of lumbar in/out motor and lumbar up/down motor. Each motor contains an electronic circuit breaker. Seat can be programmed to 4 positions, first driver-"1" button, second driver-"2" button, first driver-"1" EXIT position and second driver-"2" EXIT position where seat and steering wheel will move to allow easy in and out access to vehicle. Positions of seat are recalled from position of lumbar motor sensors when memory is set. When positions are set in memory, a chime will be heard that procedure is complete. Seat positions may be saved for up to 2 drivers. To record a seat position, depress the SET button on memory switch, followed by the EXIT button or "1" or "2" buttons. To record an EXIT position, depress the SET button followed by the EXIT button and then either the "1" or "2" button. To recall set position, depress the "1" or "2" button. A single chime will be heard. Seat will move to set position. Memory seat will operate in all functions when ignition switch is in OFF position. When ignition switch is in ON position and gear selector is in Park, memory recall function is disabled. When ignition switch is in ON position and gear selector is out of Park, memory record is only function allowed.
