Heated Seats

Battery positive voltage is supplied to all heated seat modules from rear fuse block IGN 3 fuse. Heated seats will operate only with ignition switch in ON position. Battery positive voltage is also supplied at all times to each heated seat module from rear fuse block HTDST LF fuse for left front seat, HTDST RF fuse for right front heated seat, HTDST LR fuse for left rear seat, HTDST RR fuse for right rear heated seat.

Each heated seat is controlled by a separate heated seat switch. Heated seat module monitors seat surface temperature through a thermistor and maintains a pre-determined temperature. Heated seat can be set to OFF, HIGH, MED or LOW. When heated seats are off, press heated seat switch once and seat will heat to high temperature. Press heated seat switch a second time and seat will cool to medium temperature. Press heated seat switch a third time and seat will cool to low temperature. When heated seat switch is pressed a fourth time, it will be turned off. Heated seat module will also turn off heated seat whenever ignition switch has been turned off.

When heated seat is turned on, heated seat module will automatically heat both seat cushion and seat back. When mode switch is pressed once, heated seat module will set heat mode to back only. The front door module will supply a ground path for the front heated seat switch back only LED.
