System Operation Check

  1. Remove key from ignition and close all doors. Operate left front door lock switch to LOCK position. All doors should lock and remain locked. Operate left front door lock switch to UNLOCK position. All doors should unlock and remain unlocked. Operate right front door lock switch to LOCK position. All doors should lock and remain locked. Operate right front door lock switch to UNLOCK position. All doors should unlock and remain unlocked. If locks operate as specified, go to next step. If locks do not operate as specified, perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  .
  2. Move each rear door lock to LOCKED position. All doors should lock and remain locked. If locks operate as specified, go to next step. If locks do not operate as specified, perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  .
  3. Use door key to unlock left front door. Insert key into lock cylinder and turn to unlock position and hold for a few seconds or turn key to unlock position 2 times. All doors should unlock and remain unlocked. If locks operate as specified, system is operating properly at this time. If locks do not operate as specified, perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  .
