Adapter Case Control Valve Assembly: Removal

Remove the transmission oil pan and oil filter. See DRAINING & REFILLING  under LUBRICATION. Remove the adapter case control valve assembly bolts (109). See Fig 1 . Remove the control valve assembly (71). Remove the spacer plate (73) and gasket (72). Remove the spacer plate to case gasket (104). Remove the ball check valve (85). See Fig 2 .
