Left Mirror Does Not Move Left & Right

NOTE: This procedure applies to vehicles equipped with memory systems only.

If outside mirrors system check was performed, go to next step. If outside mirrors system check was not performed, go to OUTSIDE MIRROR SYSTEM CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
Check for open in Light Blue wire between left outside mirror connector C1 terminal "A" and Memory Mirror Module (MMM) connector C1 terminal E13. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . See Figure . If faulty circuit is found, go to next step. If circuit is okay, go to step 4 .
Repair open in Light Blue wire between Memory Mirror Module (MMM) and left outside mirror. After repairs, go to OUTSIDE MIRROR SYSTEM CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
Check for open in White wire between left outside mirror connector C1 terminal "B" and MMM connector C1 terminal E11. If faulty circuit is found, go to next step. If circuit is okay, go to step 6 .
Repair open in White wire between MMM and outside mirror switch. After repairs, go to OUTSIDE MIRROR SYSTEM CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
Left outside mirror or MMM are at fault. Replace MMM and/or left outside mirror. For MMM, see MEMORY MIRROR MODULE (MMM) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. For left outside mirror, see POWER MIRRORS - DEVILLE & ELDORADO article.
