Removal & Installation
WARNING:
Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation. See appropriate
AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article.
- Move seat to full forward position. Remove seat track retainer bolt trim covers. Remove rear seat track retainer bolts. Move seat to full rearward position. Remove seat track front cover. Recline seat fully rearward. Tilt seat forward to disengage from front mounting points. Disconnect electrical connectors. Remove seat.
- Disconnect Memory Seat Module (MSM) electrical connectors. See Fig 1 . Drill rivets attaching MSM to bottom of seat. Remove module. To install, reverse removal procedure.
