Circuit Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1998 Cadillac Seville. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Module contains a data storage area which can save pertinent data when ignition is turned off. KAM data is lost if battery power is removed from module. The KAM area is an integral part of microprocessor and cannot be serviced.

This DTC indicates that the keep alive or long term memory in module has been reset. This occurs when power or ground is removed from the module, or when battery is disconnected.
