Front-End Discriminating Sensor: Installation

  1. Align sensor to vehicle, ensuring arrow on sensor body is pointing toward front of vehicle. Install and tighten sensor fasteners to 98 INCH lbs. (11 N.m). Install sensor pigtail clips. Reconnect harness connector and reinstall CPA clip. Install radiator support cover.
  2. Activate air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM  . Check system for proper operation. See TESTING - SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK  .
