SECURITY Indicator Flashes & Engine Does Not Start

  1. This is an indication that PASS-Key(R) module sensed an open, short or otherwise invalid input from ignition key resistor input. During this mode of operation PASS-Key(R) module will not start disable timer.
  2. This mode of operation could also be caused by malfunctioning power or ground circuits. Ensure ignition key is not damaged. See PASS-KEY(R) DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK and PASS-KEY(R) SYSTEM VERIFICATION.
