Front Wheel Speed Sensor: Installation

NOTE: Place hub and bearing assembly on J-38764-4 (or equivalent) to prevent possible damage to studs.
  1. Apply 620 Loctite to groove in outer diameter of bearing hub per instructions in service kit.
  2. Connect sensor, using J 38764-1 along with a press.
  3. Install hub and bearing assembly. SeeHUB & BEARING ASSEMBLY OR SEAL in FRONT -- ALLANTE article in SUSPENSION.
  4. Connect wheel speed sensor connector. Be sure connector is clipped to dust shield knuckle.
