Powertrain Control Module (Pcm)

Cruise control operation is one of the many functions which the PCM controls. The PCM receives input signals from the cruise control multifunction lever engagement switches, the brake release switches, servo position sensor and the speed sensor. The PCM processes the cruise control inputs together with the PFI engine control information and transmits command signals to the vacuum and vent solenoid valves to provide vacuum to the servo to control vehicle speed.
