Cruise Control System
Cruise control is designed to maintain a desired vehicle speed greater than 25 MPH. System capabilities include cruise, coast, resume speed, accelerate, tap-up and tap-down.
Cruise control system operates a mechanical linkage to throttle by means of a vacuum motor-operated servo. A solenoid-operated valve connects the vacuum motor to a vacuum tank. Servo is controlled by Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
