Using Tech 1: Notes

NOTE: Tech 1 Scan Tester (94-00101-A) with Bosch ABS ALDL Adapter, Pinout Box (J-35592) and high impedance multimeter are needed to test parts of ABS system.

1988-91 or 1988-92 BRAKE cartridge must be inserted in Tech 1 to perform diagnostic procedures on anti-lock brake system. Tech 1 is plugged into ALDL connector before turning ignition on. A Bosch ABS adapter is required when testing Bosch 2U anti-lock brake system.
