Current & History Codes

The SERVICE ENGINE SOON or Service Message at the CCDIC indicates that a Trouble Code has been stored in the long term memory of the PCM and is present for this key cycle.

1. CURRENT CODE
   
   The fault is present during the current key cycle.
2. HISTORY CODE
   
   The fault is NOT present during the current key cycle, but the code was set during one of the previous 50 key cycles.
