Preliminary Inspection

Before doing the SYSTEM CHECK  , perform the following checks:

1. Verify that RAP/ACCY Relay No. 2 is OK by closing all doors and starting the engine. Turn off engine and remove key from the Ignition Switch. Operate the trunk release or Astro Roof (if equipped).
2. Always check terminal contact before replacing any component.
3. If Express Down function does not operate, but window operates, check for battery voltage at terminal "A" of Express Down Window Module connector, and (DK BLU No. 164) wire from terminal "C" of Express Window Down Module to splice S526 for an open. If both checks are OK, replace Express Down Window Module.
