Removal & Installation: Installation

Before installation, measure pinion-to-flywheel clearance. See Fig 2. Clearance should be .020" (0.5 mm). Add or subtract shims as necessary. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten mounting bolts to 32 ft. lbs. (43 N.m).
