Entering Self-Diagnostics

  1. Turn ignition switch on. Simultaneously depress OFF and WARMER buttons on Electronic Climate Control Panel (ECCP) and hold until all segments of the Fuel Data Center (FDC) and ECCP illuminate. This indicates beginning of diagnostic readout. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 .

  2. Illuminating the FDC and ECCP ensures all segments of the displays are working properly. If all segments illuminate, proceed to DISPLAYING TROUBLE CODES  .
  3. If any of the segment(s) fail to illuminate, diagnosis should not be attempted, as this could lead to inaccurate test results. An inoperative panel must be replaced before proceeding with the self-diagnostic process.
NOTE: Following the completion of the segment check, system automatically enters self-diagnostic mode.
