Basic Diagnostic Procedure

Diagnosis of the Anti-Lock Brake and Traction Control System consists of 3 basic steps:

1. ABS/TCS VISUAL INSPECTION 
2. ABS/TCS FUNCTIONAL CHECK 
3. Additional tests as specified by the FUNCTIONAL CHECK.

All diagnostic should start with the ABS/TCS Visual Inspection and proceed to the ABS/TCS Functional Check if the condition is not resolved by the visual inspection.
