Special Tools: General Description

The J 36210 ABS tester is a hand-held test unit which is designed to perform checks on the Bosch Anti-Lock Brake System. For vehicles equipped with the Traction Control System, the J 36210-90 Traction Control harness adapter must be used with the tester. The J 36210 ABS tester receives battery voltage through the vehicle harness and requires no additional source of power. J 36210 performs 8 tests which may be required in some cases to thoroughly diagnose a malfunction in the Anti-Lock Brake System or Traction Control System.
