BCM DTC B335: Loss Of CCDIC Serial Data: Description
DTC B335 will set if the ignition is on and the BCM loses data communication with the Combo Panel. Since a loss of data communication with the Combo Panel will result in a "System Problem" display, this code can only be recognized as a "History" code. During this event, The HVAC will divert to 75°F set temperature, front defrost air delivery and automatic blower control. With a two-way, redundant communication ability built into this system, a double open in the data line must occur to set the fault. A single fault, however, in the Combo Panel power or ground would also cause this DTC to set.
BCM DTC B335 Indicates a loss of data communication between the Combo Panel and the BCM. When this occurs, the Combo Panel will display "System Problem" until the condition is corrected. Due to the fact that diagnostics will be inoperative while this DTC is current, it will always be displayed as a history code. Possible causes of this code are:
- Loss of ignition voltage (CKT 750) to the Combo Panel.
- Loss of 7 volts (CKT 807) to the Combo Panel.
- Loss of ground (CKT 801) to the Combo Panel.
- Opens in both CKT 800A and CKT 800B.
- Faulty Combo Panel.
