Sequential Fuel Injection

In sequential fuel injection, each injector is energized independently and in engine firing order. Injector pulses are controlled by PCM and are based on an ignition reference pulse from distributor. Injection timing remains fixed, at base engine timing, throughout engine speed range.

In order to properly control fuel supply, fuel pump is operated by PCM through fuel pump relay and oil pressure sensor.
