Pump/Motor Assembly Components: Installation

1. Position mounting insulators on pump and bracket.
2. Install pump in car an tighten mounting nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
3. Install pressure and return hoses at pump. Tighten pressure hose fitting (banjo bolt) to 11 ft. lbs. (15 N.m).
4. Connect pump motor connector.
5. Install air intake duct in car and install clamps at the air cleaner and throttle body.
6. Fill brake fluid reservoir to the FULL mark.
7. Bleed pump and booster. See BLEEDING  .
