CAUTION:

CAUTION:
Some operations in this section require that hydraulic lines, hoses and fittings be disconnected for inspection testing and replacement purposes. This brake system uses a hydraulic accumulator which, when fully charged, contains brake fluid at high pressure. Before disconnecting any hydraulic lines, hoses or fittings, be sure that the accumulator is fully depressurized. Failure to depressurize the hydraulic accumulator may result in personal injury.
CAUTION:
The use of rubber hoses or parts other than those specified for the anti-lock brake system may lead to functional problems requiring major overhaul. Replace all components included in repair kits used to service this system. Lubricate rubber parts with clean, fresh brake fluid to ease assembly. Do not use lubricated shop air on brake parts as damage to rubber components may result. If any hydraulic component is removed or brake line disconnected, it may be necessary to bleed all or part of the brake system. The torque values specified are for dry, unlubricated fasteners.
CAUTION:
Certain components in the anti-lock brake system are not intended to be serviced individually. Attempting to remove or disconnect certain system components, such as the hydraulic accumulator and valve block, may result in personal injury and/or improper system operation. Only those components with approved removal and installation procedures in this section should be serviced.
NOTE:
The prevailing torque bolts which attach the caliper mounting bracket to the front and rear knuckles must be replaced any time they become loose or are removed. In this application, tightening or loosening these special prevailing torque bolts, which use an encapsulated thread locking compound, is not recommended. Failure to replace the caliper mounting bracket bolts after they have been loosened or removed may result in loosening of the caliper to knuckle attachment, causing Reduced vehicle braking ability.
