Brake Fluid Level Sensor

The brake fluid level sensor, located on the hydraulic unit reservoir cap, is used as an input to both the BCM and the EBCM. If low fluid is detected, the EBCM disables anti-lock function and turns on the BRAKE warning lamp. Simultaneously, the BCM will enable the LOW BRAKE FLUID message for the CCDIC. The LOW BRAKE FLUID message will only display at key-on. See WARNING LAMP SYSTEM  under OPERATION.
