Test Procedure

Turn ignition off. Test drive car. Accelerate slowly to 25 MPH. Repeat acceleration and stop 2 times.

• If ABS code did not set, see NOTE ON INTERMITTENTS  under TROUBLESHOOTING.
• If CODE 16 sets, Replace EBCM. See ELECTRONIC BRAKE CONTROL MODULE (EBCM)  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
• If any other codes set, go to appropriate ABS code. See ABS TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS  table.
