Control Pressure Switch
The control pressure switch is attached to the valve block and provides an electrical signal to the EBCM when boost pressure reaches approximately 400 psi (2750 kPa). The switch is used, along with the booster piston travel switches, to monitor booster operation during brake apply. If an improper brake apply sequence is detected, the EBCM sets a trouble code, disables the ABS and notifies the driver through the CCDIC and/or BRAKE warning lamp. A short harness and two-pin connector are used to connect the control pressure, switch to the sensor block.
