Left Hand Door Switch

When the ignition switch is in RUN, or with Retained Accessory Power (RAP) energized, battery voltage is applied to the left hand door switch assembly through RAP relay 1 and the RED/WHT (76) wire. When any of the UP switches in the left hand door switch assembly are operated, battery voltage is applied to the window motor. The window motor is grounded through the DN (Down) contact in the left hand door switch assembly.

The motor runs to drive the window up. When any of the DN Switches in the left hand door switch assembly are operated, battery voltage is applied to the window motor in the opposite direction. The window motor is grounded through the UP contact in the left hand door switch assembly. The motor runs to drive the window down.
