DTC B481: Anti-Lock Fault: Description

This code indicates that the EBCM has detected and signaled to the BCM that there is an ABS failure. If Code B480 is not also set, diagnose the ABS system checking for malfunctions in the hydraulic system or ABS wheel sensors.

NOTE: The following numbered steps refer to circled numbers on diagnostic chart. See Fig 1. For circuit identification, see Fig 2.

NOTE: When all diagnosis and repairs are completed, clear codes and verify operation.
