Throttle Position Sensor (TPS): Installation

With throttle valve in the normal closed idle position, install TP{S sensor on throttle body assembly. Make sure the pickup lever is located above tank on throttle actuator lever. Install retainers and new TPS screws and lock washers.
Tighten screws so TPS will move but is not loose. Use locking compound on threads after TPS adjustment. Install throttle body and reconnect electrical connector. Adjust TPS. See appropriate article in TUNE-UP section.
