Electrical Component Locator: Solenoids
SOLENOIDS LOCATION
| Component | Location |

| Air Divert Solenoid (Gas) | On right side of engine next to valve cover. |
| Air Switch Solenoid (Gas) | On right side of engine next to valve cover. |
| Canister Purge Solenoid (Gas) | Mounted on left front inner fender well. |
| Converter Clutch Solenoid | In transmission, to lower left of engine. |
| Cruise Control Vacuum Solenoid | On left rear of engine, attached to cowl (Diesel) or power unit diaphragm bracket (Gas). |
| EGR Solenoid (Gas) | On top right front of engine. |
| Fast Idle Solenoid (Diesel) | Attached to intake manifold in front of air crossover. |
| Fuel Solenoid (Diesel) | On center of intake manifold in front of air crossover. |
| Lid Release Solenoid | On rear center of trunk compartment deck lid. |
