Throttle Position Sensor (TPS): Installation

  1. Position TPS over throttle shaft with TPS pick-up lever following throttle lever tang. Install retainers, lock washers and 2 new screws.
  2. Tighten screws so TPS will move but is not loose. Install throttle body and reconnect electrical connector. Adjust TPS. See appropriate TUNE-UP article.
