Coolant Temperature Sensor (CTS)
The CTS is located in right front corner of engine directly below thermostat. This sensor provides information to ECM for fuel enrichment, ignition timing, EGR operation, canister purge control, air management, early fuel evaporation control, closed loop fuel control and modulated displacement.
