Rear Axles: Description

NOTE: 1966-69 Cadillac rear axles cannot be overhauled but must be replaced as an assembly only.

Hypoid gear type with torque arm drive and coil spring, rear suspension except Commercial Chassis). Commercial Chassis has leaf springs and Hotchkiss drive. Rear wheel bearing is a tapered roller bearing that is completely assembled as a unit.
